Biotor Industries  has a well established R & D Centre  at Byculla Mumbai, spread over 5000 sqft area. The R & D Centre is duly approved by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology. The R & D Centre is equipped with  sophisticated  Analytical equipments facilities like gas-liquid chromatograph, high performance liquid chromatograph, High pressure autoclaves and a Pilot Plant. It is also equipped with a self contained conference hall and library.

The R & D centre has developed several efficient processes for existing castor oil derivatives and designed industrially useful new derivatives. The R & D Centre has qualified team of PhDs and postgraduates in oil Technology/Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.

The product development is supported by highly experienced personnel with continuous interaction with customers of castor oil and derivatives.
